TriCareerly reads your resume and a job description, then builds a tailored, high-ATS application package — so you stop sending the same generic resume into the void. The market is the villain; we hand you leverage.

Not at all. If you can paste a job posting and upload your resume, you can use the whole core product. The only optional “techy” part is Bring Your Own Key, and even that is a copy-paste of one key — fully explained below.

Three steps, no forms to fill out:

1. You paste the job description and point us at your resume.
2. Frontier AI reads your whole profile against that exact role — scoring, matching, and rewriting.
3. You get a downloadable package, ready to edit and send. See what you get for the full list.

They are the two things the Forge can build for you:

• Quick Scan (Stage 1) — your compatibility / ATS report, a tailored resume, a cover letter, and a screening-call script. Available on every plan, including the free trial.
• Full Package (Stage 2) — everything in the Quick Scan plus an interview-prep guide, a LinkedIn summary, outreach messages, and a job-search keyword set. Eight deliverables in total.

On the free trial, Stage 2 unlocks if you bring your own key; paid plans include it directly.

Upload your resume as a .docx or PDF. You get your deliverables back as polished documents you can download — and paid members can have them keep their exact original formatting via the BYO Format Library. You can also export straight to Google Drive.

A Quick Scan is typically under a minute or two; a Full Package takes a little longer because it's building eight tailored pieces. You'll see live progress as it works — you don't have to sit and watch. If it stalls, see the troubleshooting steps.

Head to sign up and choose email, Google, or LinkedIn. It's free to start and no card is required for the trial.

Almost always one of these:

• Check your spam / promotions folder.
• Give it a couple of minutes — delivery can lag slightly.
• Make sure you used the same email you signed up with (typos happen).

Use the password reset page and we'll email you a reset link. If you originally signed in with Google or LinkedIn, there's no password to reset — just use that same button on the login page.

Manage what you can from your account settings. For an email change or to link a different sign-in method, email support@tricareerly.club from your current address and we'll move you over safely.

Email support@tricareerly.club from your account address and ask us to delete your account. We'll permanently remove your profile, resumes, and generated documents. You can also export everything first if you want a copy. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

No — and this is a hard rule, not a setting. The Forge only works with what's in the resume you upload. It re-frames, re-orders, and sharpens your real experience to match the role, but it will never fabricate a title, a date, an employer, or an achievement.

If a line ever reads as untrue to you, it shouldn't be there — edit or regenerate it, and tell us at support@tricareerly.club so we can tighten things. Your story stays yours.

Your ATS / compatibility report estimates how well your resume lines up with that specific job — the skills, keywords, and experience the posting asks for. A lower score usually means the role wants things your current resume doesn't surface clearly.

To raise it, the report tells you exactly where:

• Add the genuine skills/keywords you have but didn't list.
• Make sure your real, relevant experience is stated plainly.
• Use the tailored resume we generate — it's already optimized for that posting.

A low score isn't a verdict on you — it's a map of what to emphasize next.

By default we output a clean, ATS-friendly layout. If you want your exact original formatting — fonts, spacing, the lot — paid members can upload a .docx to the BYO Format Library and we'll reproduce that style while tailoring the content. Complex multi-column or graphic-heavy layouts come back very close, though not always byte-for-byte identical.

Yes — everything is yours to edit. Download the documents and adjust anything, or use Ask AI / regenerate to reshape a section before you download. Treat the output as a strong first draft built for that role, not a locked final.

It's a clearing script for that first recruiter / phone screen: a short elevator pitch, the questions you're likely to be asked (with tailored answers), talking points, the logistics to have ready (availability, work authorization, notice period), and smart questions to ask back. It's part of your Quick Scan.

Two quick paths: regenerate that deliverable to get a fresh pass, or use Ask AI to tell it exactly what to change (“make the summary more senior,” “emphasize my Python work”). If it keeps missing something true about you, that detail may not be clear on your uploaded resume — add it and re-run.

Credits are tokens for the things the Forge does:

• A Quick Scan costs one Quick credit.
• A Full Package costs one Full credit.
• Ask AI questions draw from their own separate pool.

You'll always see your remaining balance on your billing page before you spend.

Nothing breaks — you just top up. A $5 package top-up adds 30 credits to a pay-as-you-go pool — roughly 10 Full Packages or 15 Quick Scans — used only after your plan's monthly credits are spent. Ask AI tops up separately ($5 ≈ 100 questions). Or move up a plan any time from billing.

Your plan's credits refill each month on your renewal date (they don't stack up month to month). The free Apprentice trial is the exception: it's a one-time batch that doesn't refill — once you've used it, upgrade to keep going. Top-up credits you buy don't expire on the monthly cycle.

From your billing page, which opens the Polar customer portal. Change or cancel any time — no guilt, no maze. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Payments are handled by Polar as the Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details — Polar does, on PCI-compliant infrastructure. Your card stays with the payment processor, not with us.

Where applicable, yes — and it's handled automatically. Because Polar is the Merchant of Record, US/Canada sales tax and EU VAT are calculated and shown at checkout, so there are no surprise charges later.

Sales are final — every generation spends real compute the moment you run it, and we don't refund hiring outcomes (whether an employer replies isn't ours to control). Full details in our Terms.

But here's our promise: if a generation fails on our end, or you were charged and didn't receive your credits, we re-credit you — every time. Email support@tricareerly.club and a real human (not a bot) will sort it out within 3–5 business days. We're a club, not a billing wall.

Give it a few minutes — once in a while the payment confirmation lags behind the charge. Refresh your billing page. If your balance still hasn't updated, use the charged-but-no-credits troubleshooter or email support@tricareerly.club with your account email — we re-credit these, guaranteed.

BYOK = Bring Your Own Key. Instead of using our managed AI, you plug in your own AI provider's API key. Two upsides:

• Unlimited generations and a cheaper monthly plan (the Hunter tiers).
• You pay the AI provider directly for usage — usually just a few cents per generation.

Set it up under Settings → LLM.

Most of the big ones, plus local models:

• Anthropic (Claude) — our recommendation, highest quality.
• OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter (100+ models behind one key).
• Ollama / llama.cpp — run a model locally (see the local-model note).
• Custom — any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (Together, Fireworks, Groq, and friends).

Create one in your provider's dashboard, copy it, and paste it into Settings → LLM. Here are each provider's official step-by-step guides — kept current by the provider, so they won't go stale or disappear:

Most providers require you to add a little billing credit before the key works — keep that in mind if your first test fails.

Prefer video? The providers don't publish official key-setup videos, so here are current community walkthroughs (these are search links, so they always surface a fresh, working video rather than a specific one that might be taken down): Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter.

Yes. Your key is encrypted before it's stored, lives only in your private member record, and is never sent back to your browser after you save it — not even to you. We use it solely to run your generations. Switch back to our managed AI any time and it stops being used instantly.

Walk through these in order — it's almost always one of them:

• Re-copy the key (stray spaces and missing characters are the #1 cause).
• Confirm billing/credits are enabled on your provider account.
• Check the model name matches one your provider offers.
• If you just created the key, wait a minute and retry.

For the best output, we recommend Claude (Anthropic). If you'd rather keep your provider bill low, pick a smaller/faster model from your provider (e.g. a “mini” variant) — it still does the job for most resumes, just a touch less polished. You can change the model any time and re-test.

You pay your AI provider directly for what you use — typically a few cents per generation, depending on the model. A bigger, higher-quality model costs a little more per run; a smaller one costs less. There's no markup from us on BYOK usage — that's the whole point of the cheaper Hunter plans.

Yes — via Ollama or llama.cpp. One catch: our hosted servers need to be able to reach your local model, so you'll expose it through a tunnel like Cloudflare Tunnel, Tailscale Funnel, or ngrok. If your tunnel needs auth, set the optional API-key field too.

Once you've saved a working key, you're billed at the reduced Hunter rate on your next invoice. Switching back to our managed AI is instant — and your plan adjusts accordingly the following cycle.

From real company job boards and reputable job APIs — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Adzuna, USAJOBS, The Muse, and more — focused on US & Canada roles. We aggregate them so you can pull a board and apply without bouncing between ten sites. The feed refreshes every few hours.

The feed is a cache that refreshes every ~6 hours, not a live web search — so a posting from the last hour might not be in yet, and we don't cover every site on the internet. If you already have a job's link, you can always paste it in directly to generate a package for it.

On any job in the feed, choose Generate to build a tailored package for it, or Apply to open the original posting. Got a link from elsewhere? Paste it on the job feed page and we'll pull the role in.

Your toolkit (full tour on the toolkit page):

• Tracker — keep every application and its status in one place.
• Batch — generate for many roles at once.
• BYO Format Library — your own .docx styles, reused.
• Ask AI — ask questions and reshape any deliverable.

Two common culprits:

• Allow the Google consent popup — if your browser blocked it, look for a blocked-popup icon in the address bar and allow it, then retry.
• When Google asks, grant the Drive permission — we only request the narrow ability to create files, nothing else.

Your resume and generated documents are private to your account. They're stored in your own protected member space and are never shown to other members or made public. Full specifics live in our Privacy Policy.

No. We use your resume and the job description only to generate your deliverables. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train models. If you bring your own key, your content goes to the provider you chose, under their terms.

On secure, managed cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud / Firebase), with access locked to your account. Files are served through short-lived secure links, not public URLs. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

You can download any generated package from your dashboard any time. For a full export or a complete account deletion, email support@tricareerly.club from your account address and we'll take care of it — see deleting your account.

First, give it a moment — Full Packages take longer than Quick Scans. If it's clearly stuck:

• Refresh the page — progress is saved, so you won't lose work.
• Try regenerating the deliverable that failed.
• Check your internet connection.

If it failed on our end, you won't lose the credit — and if one slips through, we re-credit it. The stuck-generation troubleshooter has the full steps.

Try downloading it again (an interrupted download is the usual cause), and open .docx files in Word, Google Docs, or another modern editor. If a specific document is genuinely broken, regenerate it — and tell us at support@tricareerly.club so we can look into it.

The usual three fixes, in order:

• Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).
• Try a different browser or a private/incognito window.
• Clear your browser cache for the site.

If it persists, email support@tricareerly.club with a screenshot and your browser name.

Try rotating to landscape or pinch-to-zoom out, and make sure your browser is up to date. If a specific screen is genuinely unusable on your phone, send us a screenshot at support@tricareerly.club — we want to know.
